What it solves
Most multilingual WordPress setups duplicate posts per language. Lingora keeps a single content set, prefixes translated routes such as /de/about/, and translates rendered copy instead of cloning the editorial workflow.
Who it is for
Publishers who want a multilingual WordPress site without maintaining parallel posts, and who already have an AI provider key for missing translations.
Why it exists
Duplicated posts drift. Lingora follows a live-site translation model: one inventory, language prefixes, a visual editor on the published page, and optional automatic translation for strings that do not yet have a translation.
Key capabilities
- Directory URLs such as
/de/while the default language stays unprefixed - Translation of rendered HTML text and common attributes, stored in custom tables
- Optional auto-translation of missing copy through a configured AI provider
- Language switcher, shortcode, widget, and menu injection
- hreflang tags, canonical URLs, and multilingual sitemaps
- Visual editor from the admin bar, with optional slug, gettext, search, and WooCommerce URL translation
