What it solves

Browser bookmark managers become unwieldy as collections grow. FavGrove turns bookmarks into a full-screen workspace for search, review, and safe cleanup without sending data to a server.

Who it is for

People with thousands of bookmarks who want to organize, deduplicate, and back them up locally.

Why it exists

Cloud bookmark tools often require accounts and uploads. FavGrove keeps processing on the user’s device, with no developer-controlled analytics or cloud sync.

Key capabilities

  • Full-screen bookmark workspace
  • Duplicate detection and folder management
  • Link review, tags, and virtualized lists
  • Local backups, import, and export
  • Fast search across large collections
  • Chrome and Edge support via Manifest V3

Engineering notes

FavGrove is built with React, TypeScript, Vite, Manifest V3, CRXJS, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, Vitest, and Playwright. Everything stays local by default.
